Bio-Magnetic MRI/MRA Imaging Centers

Bio-Magnetic Resonance, Inc is our corporate location and home to two fixed magnetic resonance imaging units, our centralized scheduling, nursing, insurance verification, medical transcription, marketing, accounting and IT departments. We have been producing outstanding images and have demonstrated complete commitment to excellence since February, 1989. Bio-Magnetic Resonance, Inc. is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

The Achieva 1.5 Tesla scanner is our newest unit and is the latest generation of magnetic resonance imaging from Philips Medical Systems. It is their fifth generation MR system and our fourth installation. Not only does this system offer some of the clearest images available, it also offers many patient-friendly features that make getting an MRI a more positive experience. This system has a patient capacity of 350 lbs.

Our second unit is the 'OPEN' Altaire's High Field Performance MR System that has an award winning open-air design.by Hitachi. It is completely OPEN on all four sides and allows for a patient capacity of 500 lbs.and has an effective operating field of 1.3 Tesla. This system allows for short patient imaging times and management of claustrophobia. This OPEN unit accommodates most body types very comfortably.

Music headphones are available and can be used by patient's during most MRI scans. Patient's can even listen to there own CD.

Our Radiologists (physicians interpreting your MRI) are all Board Certified, specializing in Neuro, Orthopedic, Breast and Musculosketal Radiology. The entire technical staff performing your MRI scans are registered in one or more categories of Radiology. Together our team of Physicians and Technologists possess many years or experience and expertise.

We have a full time nursing staff of Board Certified Registered Nurses. These nurses obtain medical histories on referred patients to better evaluate and fully understand the conditions and symptoms before as well as during examinations. Our nurses also provide both oral and inter-muscular (IM) sedation for claustrophobia and pain management during procedures.

We specialize in SAME or NEXT DAY PATIENT APPOINTMENTS and verbal, fax or email results to all referring physicians. Verification is made to any and all insurance companies for coverage and pre-certification prior to services.

We are OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK for patient scheduling and have convenient free designated patient parking. Complimentary transportation is provided for those patients that do not have the ability to provide their own transportation.

Each patient receives a complimentary CD of their study and there is no charge upon request from a physician for copies of their patients' films.
