Bio-Magnetic "OPEN" MRI/MRA Imaging Centers are OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK for patient scheduling at any of our five locations. Business hours are from 6:00AM - 11:00PM and our Toll Free Number is (888) MRI-TODAY (674-8632).

Physician offices can now E-Fax MRI Prescriptions to us at (248) 284-2380 and our Scheduling Department will promptly call your patients and schedule their appointments for you.

When you call to schedule an MRI, please tell the Scheduler what location you would like to have the study performed and have the following information available:

1. Prescription from Referring Physician - Type of Exam and body area to be scanned
2. Patient Name, Address and Phone Number
3. Patient Date of Birth
4. Patient Height and Weight
5. Patient Employer
6. Insurance Information

Medical - Name of Insurance and Phone Number
Policy Holder's Name, Date of Birth and Relationship to Patient
Contract and Group Numbers
Auto - Name of Insurance Company
Date of Accident
Claim Number
Adjuster's Name and Phone Number
Workman's Comp - Name of Insurance Company
Date of Accident
Claim Number
Adjuster's Name and Phone Number

7. Are there any previous films or CD of the area to be scanned available?
8. Has the patient been at one of our locations previously?
9. Is the patient claustrophobia and require one of our OPEN SCANNERS or need sedation?
10. Is the patient able to provide their own transportation or do they need us to provide it for them?
11. Does the patient have any possible metallic fragments in their eyes or body, such as shrapnel, permanent eyeliner, a hearing aid, cardiac pacemaker, artificial limb, implant or prosthetic device?
12. Notify the Scheduler if patient has Diabetes, High Blood Pressure or Kidney Disease
